ITS MY BIRTHDAY.............YAYYY!!!!

After my father was safely seated inside my car, I closed the car door and went to the other side to make my call. Though I’m still a child, I did not want my father to know I still act like one.

He picked on the third ring.

‘hey baby, how are you doing and how’s life treating u there?’ I am very close to my fiancée, a fact I must mention. No day passes without him calling me numerous times so when I was the one calling him he was surprised.

My name is Linda, Linda Cokers (don’t blame me, ask my dad) and I have been through a lot, I have come a long way (that’s putting it mildly) so the pomp and glare I enjoy now is well deserved. Well, that’s another story for another day, back to the present.

“What sup Queen?” Queen, that’s what my fiancée calls me and every time he does, I remember the first day I saw him, the picture of perfection…………….but I’m not gonna divert or start another story so I was saying it feels so good when he calls me that ( I wonder why queen Elizabeth is not always blushing)

“So why are you calling? Is everything ok?”

‘There’s something I need to tell you’ I said

“What happened, what is it?” it was very obvious he was scared, if I was in his shoes, I will be but I was not in his shoes cos I already have my own shoes.

I knew my fiancée would be making a wild guess, what are you thinking?

a.    I just found a condom in your suit pocket and I’m leaving you

b.    My father just had a heart attack

c.    I am down with fever

‘This is the deal; I am pregnant for you and its two months old. What are you gonna do?” okay, so I didn’t exactly say that, what I said was;

‘Baby, we are having a baby. The doctor said I am two months pregnant’

Silence…………………………………………

‘Hello’

Silence………………………………………….

‘Are you still there?’

Silence……………………………………………….

Now I am the one getting scared.

At last he spoke:

“my Queen, I’m on my way to the airport, I’m leaving with the next flight, you need me right now and I cant but just be there”…………………

Who says its not good to have a fiancée?...........**on my way to the airport****

And if you are wondering about my Dad, he only came to visit and he’s not having a heart attack. (At least, not yet)
